Scientists said that spicy foods help to lose weight is not worse than the low-fat diet.
The staff of the Purdue University call people every day added to food is spicy red pepper. They promise that this vegetable will help to lose weight, as it is able to suppress hunger and control appetite. This means that the volume of eaten calories per day will decrease.
The experts came to this conclusion after conducting a small experiment. Volunteers were divided into two groups. Representatives of the first spicy dishes I didn’t and the second regularly ate something spicy. For six weeks the second group ate every day, six times more red pepper, than the subjects of collective indifferent to spicy food.
It was found that people who ate spicy in a serious volume, dropped much more excess weight than those who were in a parallel group.
– Remember that spicy food is not for everyone. For example, patients suffering from diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, before starting this diet should consult a physician, advises nutritionist Dmitry Loginov.
