CEO Emily Weiss acknowledged that the launch of a separate brand was not necessary

Team American brand Glossier refuses the further development of its second beauty brand Play, also known as Glossier Play. The founder and CEO Emily Weiss admitted that instead of launching a separate brand, you can just release new funds under the existing one. Play now, the range of which consists of cosmetics, will be absorbed by the Glossier.

Previously, Weiss was told that the development of the Play took two years. The first products of a new brand, including “lucky” lip gloss and glitter for the face, went on sale in March 2019.
