The researchers found increases or decreases the level of intelligence from generation to generation

The staff of the Center for economic research, Ragnar Frisch in Norway claim that IQ tests in recent decades have come down. The authors OLE Rogeberg and burnt Bratsberg told about the results of his study and said, there is always a new generation smarter than the previous one.

Previously conducted surveys have shown that people umnel in the first half of the twentieth century, judging by the measurements of factor of intelligence. This trend called the Flynn effect. In order to explain this, scientists proposed different theories: food, education, health and many other factors which helped people to become smarter.

However, Norwegian scientists claim that now the people began to rapidly become blunt. In the study, they analyzed the results of IQ tests, which were held at recruits in the army of Norway, 1970 – 2009. They treated 730 of thousands of results. During the study it was found that on average, scores decreased by approximately seven points in a single generation is just the opposite results that were about 70 years ago.

Note that this distressing news was not over. The researchers found that there is a difference between family groups. They suggested that these factors can be changed under the influence of environment, lifestyle (people are reading less, watching more TV and playing computer games).

Similar results were obtained researchers from the UK. According to scientists, the IQ of the British falls of 2.5 – 4.3 points every 10 years.

In December 2017, experts from the USA have revealed an interesting factor: the children who ate a lot of fish as they grow older had a higher IQ. It is noteworthy that today the kids around the world eat all the smaller fish.

Is it always a new generation smarter than the previous?
